What I love most about Kibbutzimer:
Meeting interesting people of all ages and from all over the world.
My tip for our students: (not necessarily related to Hebrew)
You will need an open mind and a lot of patience, but be ready to be surprised. Surprised by the Hebrew language, by the kibbutz and the people; but mostly be surprised by how far you can reach.

Yaniv
Role: Marketing Manager
Place of residence: Mashabei Sadeh
Hobbies:
Beyond the regular pastimes of music and books, I love radio! I'm always happy for every opportunity to go out on trips and adventures. Love swimming and basketball. In the area of vacationing and extreme sports: Travelling to the beautiful beaches of Sinai and scuba diving (I'm even certified as a rescue diver). I share my life with a dog named Bougi and I'm also an amateur hummus maker.
What I love most about Kibbutzimer:
I cannot imagine a place like ours anywhere else in the world. It is a known thing that a language is something you learn in a classroom that is inside of a building but here, in Kibbutzimer, we manage to teach a new language in a space that is not restricted to a classroom and in a way that is completely new to our students, combining everyday life with the experience of learning. To me, it's magical.
My tip for our students: (not necessarily related to Hebrew)
Life here is different than anything you know, no matter where you are from. Keep an open mind and you will have everything you need.

Hobbies: My main hobby is music. I sing, play the guitar, piano and I write songs. In addition, I love drawing and reading. I'm very interested in history and I spend too much time on social media J
What I love most about Kibbutzimer:
I love meeting people from all over the world and thus way learning more about their countries and culture. It's great to see the connection created here between our students, knowing that if they didn't like and were interested in learning Hebrew, they never would have met. Since I started working here, at Kibbutzimer, my connection to my language and country grew, because you can't help but appreciate what we have, when you see it through our student's eyes.
My tip for our students: (not necessarily related to Hebrew):
Because we live in the desert, the temperature difference between night and day can be quite dramatic, I recommend bringing a light jacket or a cardigan even during the summer.
